Mercy Medical Angels removes the barrier to medical care with transportation on the ground and in the air. Our vision is to ensure that no one is ever denied medical care because they don’t have transportation.
When a patient is diagnosed with a life-threatening disease or a serious health issue their lives can quickly be turned upside-down. Often the care they need is far away. Faced with financial uncertainty the cost of transportation to the clinical care that they need can be a challenge.
Mercy Medical Angels has been providing free transportation to medical care since 1972. On the ground with gas cards, bus and train tickets and in the air with trips flown by volunteer pilots and the commercial airlines Mercy Medical Angels is here to ensure that no one in need is denied medical care because they don't have transportation.
These transportation services change and save lives. Because of Mercy Medical Angels donors like you, patients can access necessary medical care. Thanks to your support of Mercy Medical Angels, those in need have a second chance. They can live a healthy and happy life because of you.
Our mission is to remove the barrier to medical care with transportation on the ground and in the air. The patients we serve are the faces of our mission. They are the heroes of their own stories as they battle Illness. They are the reason Mercy Medical Angels exists. Helping cancer patients, children, Veterans and their families in need – these individuals and families are why we do what we do.
